KC Group Shipping Take Home Industry and Business Award Commendation from Inspiring City Awards.

It’s often said that ‘People Make Glasgow’. The same is true of KC Group Shipping, where our people are at the core of the growth and success we have achieved, not to mention the value and benefit to our customers.

Last night, September 7, 2017 at the Inspiring City Awards in Glasgow, our team was recognised with a commendation award for Industry and Business, kindly sponsored by City Building.

The event - hosted by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and The Herald, and in partnership with Glasgow’s award-winning city brand – PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW - was held at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central, and was a night to remember.

Throughout the evening, the focus was on celebrating the achievements of the people of Glasgow and their contributions to the city. From education and sport to entertainment and of course business.

Commenting on the evening and award success, David Milne, KC Group Shipping Managing Director said, “I would like to thank the event organisers for presenting a well thought out evening for us all. We congratulate all nominees and award winners, and a special mention from me must go to my team. The dedication, vision and determination shown throughout by every member of our team, is inspirational for me and proves that the future of KC Group Shipping is most definitely in the hands of the right people.”

The KC Group Shipping representatives at the ceremony made the most of an opportunity to get together and enjoy some social time. It is worth mentioning though that not everyone was completely switched off for the evening, with members of our operations team still attending to customer requests during dinner. A commitment we applaud!
