Environmental Policy

Our corporate sustainability is a business approach which has at its heart a “green” strategy aimed towards the natural environment.

This commitment to the environment is underlined by, for example, the responsible way in which we handle enquiries concerning the export of non-hazardous recyclable waste which must be booked and accounted for in the most environmentally suitable manner in compliance with EU Regulation EC 1013/2006 as laid down by SEPA, Scotland and the UK Environment Agency https://www.kcliner.com/sustainability/certifications#notes-for-export-of-green-list-waste-duties-of-care-read-more. Our key shipping line partners are also increasingly committed to the practice of ‘slow steaming’ – operating vessels at significantly less than their maximum speed to reduce emissions. And our flexible intermodal approach to logistics and consignment planning also takes into account good environmental practices throughout the process.
